Nightmare of all women, cellulite affects 9 out of 10 women (both lean that less lean) and focuses mostly on the buttocks and thighs. Resistant to diet, to exercise, and many treatments, but something can be done to contain it and stop it.
Literally "cellulite" means "inflammation of the cell." Cellulite is not however an inflammatory process, but rather the consequence of a process of degeneration of the micro-circulation of adipose tissues.It is located under the skin and is characterized by hypertrophy of fat cells, where they accumulate in the intracellular spaces liquids (residues of the biochemical processes of the body) in excess. The balance of the venous and lymphatic system (lymph is a liquid that collects the waste materials of the body and the blood flowing in channels) is modified with a slowing of blood flow and fluid retention by the tissues.
This can sometimes be a condition unique to over weight men and women but that couldn't be more wrong; the cottage cheese appearance so familiar with this problem that it may affect skinny individuals additionally.
